This is my favorite ponytail bag. The elastic band at the top really helps to hold the bag and stay in place. I've ordered 8 so far and they've all held up amazingly well. Can't confirm how waterproof they are as we had about 70 inches of rain last year (we had 6 inches this month). They did a great job of keeping the tails dry and clean. Pros: It's a tough job and it sticks. The Bad: It's LOUD. I have an explosion proof horse and for the first few days I scared it. If we ride another horse in the ring and it wags its tail, it spoils the other horses. Even the ring brace that bounces off her hooves and bangs against her as she works is noisy.
