Does the job well

Works great. Only suggestion: when you get it and install the spring, you can put a small dab of glue on each end of the spring to keep it from popping out if you accidentally hit your finger while working.

Pros
  • Canvas Tools & Supplies
Cons
  • Crumpled Wrap

Makes stretching so much easier!

I had a smaller previous model, without rubber grips and non-rubberized pads on the actual clips that prevent even tension, lasted about 8 years in continuous use. Larger in both the head and handle, these canvas tongs feature rubber pads on the clamp and handles that make it easier to pull canvas and linen (raw or plaster) with even pressure. If you stretch your own surfaces, this is a must.

Pros
  • panels and canvas
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I've bought over 20 pairs of these from .

I have bought over 20 pairs of these items over the past few years and this is the first time the handles have been left in place. mine works fine. After some hard pulling and stretching, this pair still works well. Will buy more from this buyer. Let's hope the next couples work well too. PS: I don't actually use a spring when stretched. but it might be useful for someone.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Quick Guide
