my new darling Almost

Gillette Nacet's blade was a pleasant surprise. My favorite razor blade was the Astra SP. But I found the Nacet just as smooth and maybe a little sharper than other blades I've used. At the moment I would say that Nacet and Astra SP are neck and neck in terms of shaving comfort. Will definitely take more when that 50 is up.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

These are good blades, no complaints.

Remember blades are a matter of personal preference. You'll have to experiment with the same razor to see which blades work for you. Mixing and matching different razors and blades will produce different results and it will take you longer to figure out which ones are right for you.

I was won over by these blades

I tried one of these in a sample kit I bought from another seller. I really liked the balance between sharpness and smoothness, but I decided to try some other brands in the sampler pack. Last month I decided that enough is enough and I would use Nacet blades as much as possible and ordered 50 from Revain. Blades (I'll try them one day to satisfy my curiosity) and ordered 50 more Nacet Blades. It's a great blade and the price allows you to change blades often (a pack of 50 blades lasts 7-8…

Daily Blade - Sharp and smooth.

Instantly sharp, unlike some coated blades. Excellent balance between smooth and sharp. An added benefit is that there is no price penalty for a 50 vs 100 order. The only downside is the overall price. Rapira Platinum Lux and Perma-Sharp are good alternatives for under $0.13 per blade versus $0.22 per blade. The rapier is a little less sharp and a little smoother. Perma-Sharp is the opposite.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • I'm concerned

Sharpness and durability not up to date

I'm disappointed with the sharpness. The first shave is not very comfortable, the blade shaves only 2-3 times. I've shaved two or three times with much cheaper blades, so I'm disappointed in Gillette Nacet's stainless steel blades. After the first shave, I store the used blade in an oil bath to keep the blade intact. For the price, I would have expected longer blade life from Gillette.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Hard to say

Razor addiction for me?

First of all I like Nacet a lot and for me it's a beauty thing with some razors. Muhle R89 and Razorock GC .84 come to mind. The big surprise was the use of Fatip Grande. Three passes and good cleaning. Took a little longer than expected but a fair compromise for a clean shave without irritation. Looking forward to trying them out in QShave (Futur clone), like the old Feather Portable (Tech clone) and of course some old Gillettes from the 50's.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Negative impression
