I liked them, I went to a soap making class in Chicago and they sold the same thing for $12 each. They work just as well. I've read some comments about not being tall enough. . where do you buy your soap LOL I bought a really big pole, I just put it on the other side. Not difficult to do. In all honesty, this is the preferred method if you ask the soap maker. They told me that in class. I was just looking for the best price. I use them 2 times a day. Easy to clean, no mold, no discoloration.

Thanks for the soap dishes! They smell wonderful, well packaged (in a right sized recyclable padded sleeve with no plastic). We use one in the kitchen and the other in the bathroom. My husband recently got a similar soap dish from a soap company (the one with the disgusting advertisements for men, you've probably noticed that recently) that has woody paint oozing onto the shower shelf and washing out onto the soap. They are perfect in everything - I love the way they look and the size is perfect for my soap - but I cannot recommend them. When wet, they turn dark and stain anything they sit on. Luckily I was able to remove them from my quartz countertops, but if I used them on my old non-quartz glass countertops the stains would be permanent. They are now sitting on old washcloths to prevent future stains while I sort out the replacement. I really don't see how this product can sell considering it stains…

I'm glad I bought it as I did, bought a set for myself and two as Christmas stockings. I was drawn to the fact that they were cedar wood with no stains or varnish, having read reviews of other manufacturers' soap dishes that said they left a stain on the surface they stood on. I haven't been using it for long but I really like it. Small enough to stand on a shelf in the shower but big enough for a bar of soap. They are very spa-like. They are nicely packaged and smell nice when you open them…

Not much to say... It's a soap dish. But it feels and works well, allowing my natural soap to dry between uses without becoming rough. I go to sea and work on a big ship. The showers are pretty industrial… Judging by the photo. It's nice to keep my soap on something that helps extend the life of my handmade soap. I never thought that a cedar wood soap dish would make a huge difference. But when I started buying more expensive soaps...I'm glad I spent a few extra dollars to get a nice soap dish…
