I don't know - I understand that the label says "100% cotton" but it definitely looks like viscose to me . It's hot and creases easily, and when wet it behaves like viscose.

I. Ours may have to do with this item being brown. instead of the advertised fuchsia rose. Because I understand display colors vary. But the smell is terrible. I bought it for a plane trip to put on my face. I choke when he's on my lap! What a rip off!

Nice color but the hardness surprises! Even after washing your hands, it looks rough. I bought it to use as a headband but every time I put it on I get too hot - honestly it's been too hot a summer. I expected more from a gauze scarf so it doesn't suit my purpose. But it's good quality so I'll put it away for the cooler months.

Bought 2 different colors but both very faded/faded (Natural2 and Fushia Rose). Maybe it's normal for a young person, but I'm almost 70 and they don't flatter me at all.
