I like this camera base and the assembly is quite easy. I think all cameras are compatible, but I like the rotation damping best. You know, that feeling of smoothness is great.

This is a decent product for the hobbyist like me. It's mostly stretchy but has good mobility. This works well for recording random videos. I'm not keen on the QR system and will be adding another one to the top so all my cameras use the same mount.

I think this head is very smooth after breaking. I bought it for my DSLR to shoot videos and my first test with it went well. I seem to pan pretty smoothly. I'd say the vertical tilt is a bit stiffer even when you loosen the tension dial, but this is a solid tripod head, especially for the money.

I've been in the cinema for over 20 years and I know a lot about gear. Note that in this industry, price often REALLY means quality. So for the price of this tripod head you get incredible value and mediocre quality. No, it doesn't have that "professional" feel that some heads have. However, it serves its purpose, which is why I bought it and kept it. Good value for everyone.
