As a photographer who has used a variety of tripods this is one of the best tripods on the market for $90. Sturdy body and extra wide base! I have several now. I use them to store an AD600 with fairly large softboxes. There were cases when things fell off due to the small diameter of the base. That doesn't happen with these.

I ordered this shelf for surveying a commercial site. It arrived damaged, with a broken bracket on the bottom of the stand. It was truncated, making it impossible to restore. I returned it and asked for a replacement. The replacement came quickly but with exactly the same defect. I sent the second stand back and didn't ask for a replacement. Many Thanks.

Well, I was expecting this thing to be big and heavy, but I definitely underestimated its weight. This thing is heavy. But I guess that's a good sign that he's super powerful. It doesn't collapse shorter than about 4 feet. Also looks good, beautiful and shiny. I'm confident this tripod will hold up to anything I attach to it, including my giant softboxes and heavy flashlights. This is not a tripod that I would use in my portable kit. This one stays in the studio.

I've been using Manfrotto 12' padded coasters for a long time. I jumped on sale at this booth as it was a Prime Day deal. I would say it's very powerful, durable and I don't hesitate to use it in my studio with one of my ProFoto flashes. It's not my first choice for taking it from afar as it's considerably heavier and longer (doesn't fit my Manfrotto coasters). Other than that, this is a solid stand that I will keep and use in the studio and remotely when needed.
