This sander did not live up to my expectations. The sanding disk slowed down and stopped on several occasions during use. The variable speed control was difficult to adjust and seemed to have little effect. While the sander was comfortable to hold, it lacked the power and precision needed for industrial and scientific applications.

Nothing fancy, works as it should. Don't expect performance from Dynabrade. After doing a lot of body work, I used a lot of random orbits. Expensive models make much more random orbits and create a vibratory effect that minimizes wake turbulence. This grinder leaves marks, but they are easy to remove.

quality grinder with good performance. I bought them before and use them at work (body repair). I usually use it for about 3-4 years, then replace it and use it at home until it gives up. Most people should be very happy with this grinder unless they are tool snobs who need a brand label and want to spend 2-3x more.
