Great sneakers, run a little small

I have foot problems, so my podiatrist prescribed me New Balance 2E and insoles years ago. The last one lasted almost 3 years. I've always worn 10.5s with insoles but these 996s fit a bit smaller so keep that in mind when ordering. Everything else is as it should be.

There is not enough space in my review.

Too tight at the foot. I have worn a size 13 with a comfortable fit for many years. In this case it didn't work. Also the color wasn't as red as on my iPad. Returned without problems.

Great shoe for courts, great fit

This tennis shoe is perfect for people with wide feet. I couldn't find any other pumps that fit my size. Well done New Balance. Keep making shoes like this.

Terrible, I have worn them and they are uncomfortable. I bought 4 pairs of these shoes and they are not very wide! they are not 996v3 What's wrong with these workers, read the box idiots! And my fault for getting them and putting them on!

I ordered white and received white with a weird beige rubber(?) coating/patch.

Shoes appear to be broken. I would return them but my size is no longer available in white or any other color. I can always return them if I don't like them on the pitch.

  • 996 is my favorite shoe. This is my 4th pair. Width 11 fits perfectly and goes in very quickly.
Cons
  • Heavy and inflexible. After wearing it, there were problems with the foot muscles. The foot feels very flat and has no support when worn.

The color is not accurate.

The color was listed as gray and white, but it's more of a light green than gray so it was quite disappointing. I haven't tried the shoes on yet, but it looks like everything will be fine.

So uncomfortable good for me

I was hoping this shoe would fit, but it didn't. The material is so stiff that the instep above the arch of the foot is not padded. Disappointing.

  • The sole of this shoe wore out in just 4 months even though I play tennis 3 times a week on average.

Great shoes - my new review

Much lighter and more comfortable than my previous NB leather pumps but with a stiff heel support that helps with pronation issues. I found my new pickleball and tennis shoes!

Assembly and running-in time required.

As mentioned in other reviews, these NB 996v3 tennis shoes run small. I have previously had several pairs of Asics Resolution 7s in a 10.5, medium width D, which are comfortable on first wear and have little to no break-in time. I had to go up a size 11, Wide 2E for these shoes to have equal room for my foot and toe box. And these soles feel a lot stiffer than the Resolutions, which makes me hesitant to play tennis in these shoes - they feel stiff just walking in them and look chunkier and…

Love the new balance, they are at least not as comfortable but still like them

I have hind legs but new balance and shoes, the Solomon has been my favorite for many years. I buy a lot of shoes, I love shoes. Sometimes I buy them from Revain, sometimes elsewhere, but it's always Solomon or New Balance. Great looking sneakers

I love all white shoes but the little touch of blue in the letter is a nice touch. I have a shoe size 10.5 but I ordered a size 11 thinking that the shoe size is smaller than expected but I was wrong. Runs a bit large but it's my fault I ordered a size 11. Seems solid enough and more importantly New Balance is an American company that supports our country, US, military etc. No more Nike for me. Either way, I would recommend these shoes to anyone who likes their aesthetic.

I have been wearing NB 786 for several years and .

I've been wearing the NB 786 for several years and bought this shoe thinking I wanted to upgrade it. Size 2E is perfect for the 786 but is very narrow on this model. If you have wide feet, be careful!

Too short and tight

I always wear the New Balance 12 Wide (2E). I had to go to 13 Wide for these shoes. The overall length of the 13s is the same as my old 12s.
