🎾 Revolutionary Performance: New Balance FuelCell Tennis Sulphur Men's Shoes Review

My son got them for his 13th birthday. They go BIG and wide - he's usually a 10 in Adidas etc but these New Balance 2Es were spot on for a 9.5. The color is bright yellow, which is welcome and looks good in traditional tennis shoes. These NB FuelCell 996 are light, comfortable and big. Order 1/2 size smaller and it's good.

Great fit and great to wear on the pitch. But I did notice that my heel was sore and the more calloused area under one thumb. My diagnosis is that there isn't as much material under my foot as in other running shoes. However, please note that I play on outdoor hard courts, so don't worry if you play on clay.

I currently have 3 New Balance models. 2 sizes 10 1/2, other 10. A 10 1/2 is a bit big but since I use it for softball it's ok. For this shoe I bought a size 10 1/2 and returned it for a 10, perfect. They look good, feel light and have good grip. I would recommend them.

I play pickleball which is known for its agility on the court and these kids did it even better. Good grip and light weight. Opponents had no idea what hit them. (I mostly play with guys who are 15 years older than me, so I still seem quick to them.) I recommend wearing them at home for a day or so, as the toe box feels tight at first but stretches a bit and is perfect now. .
