The tensioning mechanism confuses me but my 8 year old loves it

The tensioning mechanism confuses me but my 8 year old loves it. I always think they're broken but she seems to be able to fix it, I mean they're not broken and she's just showing me how it works. I didn't really know that was what I was buying, I thought it was just a decoration. I didn't know it's a dial that tightens your shoes. To be honest I probably wouldn't order them if I knew but like I said my daughter thinks they're the coolest thing in the world so I got points I don't know about.

Cool feature for a tie!

My daughter loves these sneakers. She might be 12-12.5 and we bought 13 for her size and they fit her well with a sock. She can turn them on and off very easily and loves blowing them as she is in control. They are light but still wear well. Coral color is very bright and cute for baby. We bought them because her cousin had them and she really liked them and we weren't disappointed! She's also very picky about how her sneakers sit on her toes and says she can wiggle them in them (which is why…

Not for the kid who wears his own shoes (only because of the lower rating)

As my husband and son have narrow feet and wear NB, for a little kid for almost 3 years I am a size 11 bought -old child, also narrow legs. He was very proud of his independence and wore Velcro shoes. He was uncomfortable putting on this style alone, unable to get his foot into the tight top of the sock, then overtightened and unable to press the release button alone, resulting in a collapse.
