My son has wide feet and usually has at least 1/2" toe room in a size 11. But these shoes fit just right. I bought one wide and the shoe was tight on the foot and also with thin socks.I go back for a bigger size as I like the quality.The pictures don't match!Buy shoes but choose a bigger size and XW if your kid has a wider one Foot.

Fits as expected but wears out pretty quickly. They don't fit my daughter's ankles well so they rub against each other during the day as they protrude a bit. She says they are comfortable shoes - they just didn't look as long as I expected. She started wearing them at the end of August so that's less than 4 months of gestation.

Soooo. Shoes 4 months old. Cute, bright, fits perfectly. I've had a new balance before and have always been happy with this brand. These didn't last. My daughter hardly wore them because she has a lot of shoes. I just noticed how worn they look. These shoes have never been washed or cleaned in those 4 months (shows they are indeed still new) and you can see the soles are hardly worn but very torn and worn on the fabric side.
