Fits my leggy 12 year old just perfect, she loves it! She has sensitivity issues and they are very soft and slightly prickly.

My granddaughter has slightly big legs but she likes the shorts and wears them when she rests and sleeps. They wash and dry wonderfully. As they have a large cut-out on the legs, a smaller size may fit better. She is 60 inches tall and weighs about 72 pounds.
