New Balance Running Rainbow Little Girls' Shoes Review

We bought these for my 4.5 year old who was a size 12. I've always liked the new balance. They used to be a lot cheaper, and I have a cheap heart. At the same time, my little girl walks on tiptoe with some motor delays. It is the ideal therapeutic shoe and is the most popular choice of therapists in my area for designing orthopedic insoles. They prevent walking on tiptoe with a stiff ankle in the back (not sure of the technical term). They are convenient and also right on their rainbow alley…

This is one of the few styles that we think works well with AFO. There is an option for a very wide size and the back rises high enough to accommodate a booster seat or lift if your child needs this as part of their AFO.

You'd think for the price they could at least ship them in a box! This is a present for my niece. I was almost embarrassed to give them to her, they looked used 🥺

Cute shoes and my daughter loved them but the quality sucks - she wore them for two hours and they broke! (See picture.) Return and buy another brand as a replacement.

These shoes offer great support and the laces are the perfect length to teach your little one how to tie their laces without being too long.

Full 5 stars for these sneakers! Our son has flat feet, so we always bought him quality shoes with support. These New Balance shoes didn't hurt his feet and lasted a full year in his sport class. He said he could run really fast in it ha! I need to replace them but just because he's outgrown them they're still in great condition.

Excellent quality. My 8 year old daughter has wide feet and has a hard time finding comfortable shoes. It is great! We have 2 different colors for her and they both fit great. I will continue to buy these.

Great color at the base of the sole! It is really fun for a small child to take these colorful shoes out of the box! In terms of size, they definitely live up to expectations if you're already buying New Balance for your kid. If it's a different brand, I'm not entirely sure, but they definitely live up to our expectations!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have. They're perfect if you want the popular 990s. they also go with everything.

We have very wide feet (E) and find it difficult to find suitable shoes for school and everyday life. Fits great, easy to put on and take off. Also great for sports. I wish NB would start making extra wide Mary Janes/chic casual shoes/tennis shoes for playing tennis/more dressy options.

These are the only sneakers my grandson can wear that have a large width to match his AFO! And Best Buy is the only place where we can find them in a variety of colors and wide widths!

My daughter needed x-wide orthopedic shoes and they are the only ones that fit her. We have tried many pairs and not only do they fit, they hold up great. I am very happy with my purchase so when we got their SMO we re-ordered the next size up.

I love NB sneakers for my kid. She wears KAFO and a very wide NB always fits! I have purchased this particular style at least 5 times since it has grown.

Great looking shoe that is orthotic friendly. I had to remove the insoles. Size 9 wasn't big enough for her and size 9 was too small. We went to xWide and their orthotics fitted and let them grow. I think 9 xWide will do, but will soon outgrow it. I asked my daughter how they felt and she said they were soft. (3 years)

I needed very wide shoes for my son's orthotics. These are the only ones we have found that work well with his braces after several failed attempts with other brands. We took 2 sizes up and chose a very wide one and they fit perfectly. High quality, durable shoes.

My child has a wide foot, so it's not easy to find sneakers that fit him. Thank goodness New Balance is sold very widely! These shoes are just great!

We liked that this shoe was exactly a size and a half larger than its original foot size. It is very difficult for us to find a double shoe size. We wear suspenders on his legs so finding them in this particular size and style was perfect! This brand was highly recommended by his physical therapist.
