New Balance T4040V4 Baseball Green Review

I got these lawns on the recommendation of a friend. They are very comfortable and I really like them. But after wearing them for less than a month, I noticed bits of sod peeling off. The ground now has holes where the turf should be. I contacted Amazon about this, they relayed my concerns to softball fans who then advised me to contact New Balance directly. New Balance said I could return the lawn and they would give me $75 for their store. That way I would have no money for shipping both ways

These shoes run about a full size smaller. I have 10-10.5 for every shoe I have had for 25 years and I have bought a size 10.5 for these shoes. But they are so tight and uncomfortable, especially in the toe area. I'm a bit shocked at how far they've gone. This is what I get when I buy Revain shoes without seeing my eyes. Shame on you New Balance your sizing is so different than any other shoe manufacturer.

I want to wear shoes that look good, but at some point you have to wear shoes that fit. I wear 11.5 on most other brands but here 12.5 is still too narrow in width and length. My thumb only rests on the front. They also seem to have an inward curvature, which makes walking or running seem rather odd. Maybe it's my foot but this is my second try on New Balance and I find them a bit strange I think. Look nice though.

Excellent shoes. You look great. The pair I got is the 14th, looks more like a 13th. I have to slide my legs in and my fingers start hurting right away. In hindsight I should have returned them for 15. But I like tight shoes, plus they will "stretch". ok let me tell you they don't stretch. I've worn these shoes about 5 times throughout the day, not to mention walking around the house for a couple of days trying to stretch them and they just wouldn't stretch. I really like the look of this shoe. I plan to wear it during soccer and baseball practice (great option between sneakers and cleats). However, I found them to be very small and have very little arch support. They have removable insoles so I bought running insoles to get the comfort I was looking for. Although I ordered half a size larger than I normally wear, I had to send them back as they were still too small. I recommend ordering one size larger! When I get my new pair I will check them out

**NOTE**Be sure to order *HALF SIZE* larger than you would with other shoes as they are slightly smaller. If you have thick/wide feet I would recommend buying the "WIDE" version as it fits my feet perfectly as they are "NORMAL wide" but definitely a narrower shoe. I wanted to try NB in softball. I step in so I don't need the extra support of a traditional molded boot. I ordered them a size 11 as this is where I end up with most sneakers and athletic shoes. Despite being the right size, they were overall much narrower than I expected. I don't usually need wide shoes, although my feet are probably a little wider than average. bit I returned them. They just weren't for me.

Great shoes, comfortable fit, durable but very bad for rainy weather. On any given day, this is the most practical turf shoe out there, but when it rains, expect it to have no traction. This may be true of all turf running shoes, I would do the research, but overall this is a really good product that is still in near mint condition after two seasons of baseball. I recommend!
