A very comfortable shoe that I will use for trail running. They are 1/2 size too small in my opinion but even when I had to return a size 8 the transaction was smooth and the return postage was paid for in full. Thanks for this great customer service! Updated 3/1/19. These shoes are very comfortable and offer good cushioning. They were recommended by my sister who does a lot of trail running and she was right! Very good shoes.

I own several pairs of running/hiking shoes, many of them New Balance. However, these NB shoes are the worst pair I have ever bought. I can't get my foot in as there is no "tongue" to open them properly. Its design is more like slippers with laces that are VERY difficult to squeeze your foot into. When I finally put them on, they were too small and uncomfortable. I've worn the same size for years - never had this problem. I donated them to charity. Don't waste money.

After signing up for my very first trail running event, I decided I needed a pair of shoes that was up to the task. A friend of mine who works as a shoe seller recommended them as a good choice (good price, comfortable, lots of choice) and he has his own pair of shoes with which he has had very good experiences.
