Better than Nighthawk cables

IMHO the Audioquest Nighthawk cables are pretty bad. Connections are poor with intermittent disconnects when the cables were moved about. These solved my problems. I've had no issues with feedback through the headphones when the cable rubbed against itself as another reviewer complained of. I like these so much that I've ordered a duplicate set with a longer cord.

Pros
  • This is a far better cord for the Hifiman HE400i than what comes with the headphones.
Cons
  • The 3.5mm and 6.35mm plugs may not offer the best sound quality for some audiophiles who require a higher quality connection for their headphones

Great cable. A must have for the 400s / .

Great cable. A must have for the 400s / 400i series as the default cable is terribly designed. This one does not snag, has a straight jack-plug instead of the angled one like the original cable, and it is just the right length for desktop listening. The 2.5mm connectors snap in perfectly.

Pros
  • This was a good temp cable that was super cheap until my custom balanced cable showed up.
Cons
  • The length of the cable, 1.5 meters, may not be suitable for all users who have a preference for longer cables
