Non-standard plug

Warning you do not have a standard plug that ALL trailer lights of this size have. Very annoying. If you need them for another application they may be fine, but it would be very frustrating for a trailer to replace them.

The rubber bushing is too small, too loose.

If you are using these to replace standard size 2.5" lights with standard sockets, the sockets are about 1/4" too small and too loose to stay in the hole. Instead, you must purchase and use Peterson Manufacturing 143-18 bushings.

Very Tight Fit: Lighting Kits and Accessories

Install this light and its socket in an appropriately sized round hole bracket and be prepared for a fight. I had to use liquid dish soap as a lubricant. I also reheated the plastic wrap. Compared to other devices, this sleeve is very stiff and difficult to handle. It would be easier to buy a flashlight that is already mounted on a bracket.

Not exactly like the photo

First photo of Revain. The second photo shows the item I received. This isn't a problem if you're using a rubber grommet, but I installed them flat like my standard grommets. I chiseled out the existing small hole to fit the extra tab and it worked fine. I love accurate descriptions and pictures without surprises. Is it too much, ask. Otherwise they work well and have a decent brightness.
