I wanted an unsealed straight walled glass container for the starter to make it work but wish the glass was thicker and stronger.

I love my glasses they look great and work great. They're fairly fragile, so if you're looking for something more permanent, this might not be ideal.

Very good glass although I'm afraid it can break very easily. The glass is very thin but good enough for what I wanted to use it for. I put seashells in it and it looks very nice

Although the bar looks nice the measurements/size are completely wrong. A 650ml jar is a far cry from 650ml. I have a box of formula I was planning to use it on. A box of 400ml, and even half doesn't fit in a glass that says 650ml. :(

Dog wipes stayed damp in this jar, but my bamboo lid got moldy a few times. The jar seems to be made out of quality items, but when I contacted the company and asked if a cork lid would work better to prevent mold, they basically told me to buy a mason jar. So I would not recommend buying if you store wet stuff.

I like this jar. I keep my starter in it and use a rubber band to tell when it doubles. Since the sides are straight, this is easy. The glass gets sticky and quite thin, so I'm wary of breaking it if I try to vigorously clean it. So I'll just let it be a little rough. The lid is beautiful and fits well. Perfect storage to start with.

Purchased for storing and dosing powdered supplements. It is large enough to hold a dietary supplement for several weeks along with a scoop. The silicone seal around the bamboo lid securely seals the clear glass jar. The only downside I can think of is that it's made out of pretty thin glass. If there's a chance of it colliding or falling, you should look for a more durable container. But everything is perfect for me. Nice clean stylish container with a great lid.
