Totally Unreliable and Dangerous

This product is a disaster waiting to happen. The soldering iron stopped working after a few uses, but the worst part is that it overheats and poses a serious fire risk. I couldn`t even attempt to use it for any kind of industrial or scientific application without putting myself at risk..

Great for fine, delicate work

This unit is well made and works great. It heats up in seconds and is very easy to set up. The heating element is quite small (see photo - compared to reading glasses) so don't expect it to work well with large items, but it's perfect for thin wires like headset repairs.
