Faulty Harness, Unsatisfactory Performance

According to my experience, this automotive replacement part was a complete waste of money. The harness connects poorly and the motor fails to function as expected. The only positive thing I can say about this product is that it arrived on time. However, the overall quality and performance were greatly disappointing.

Pros
  • Arrived on time
Cons
  • Faulty harness and poor motor function

No 12ga cable! for engine cooling and air conditioning

I bought this specifically because of the cable thickness. When I received the connector the wire was 20 ga at best, 18 ga. I've had to use it, but I'll have to keep an eye on it until I find one where they don't lie about the wire size.

Pros
  • spare parts
Cons
  • can be retrofitted

The fan draws a few more amps than the 18G wire can handle, so they heat up very quickly and for a long time view are not trustworthy. I fixed this by removing the weak wire from the connector and re-crimping the 16G wire, but this is the minimum for the application. Also the wires were swapped, when I got it I had to swap the…
