Works like skin

We went to the hot springs right after my husband got stitches. I put some non-stick gauze on the wound and then this. Stayed glued and the stitches dried out after a few jacuzzi baths!

  • Nice packaging
Cons

Ideal for keeping wounds dry.

Hold out for a few days. Ideal for watertight, sterile wound healing. Stay for several days and shower daily. I've been using them for years and they are perfect for any wound that needs to be covered and kept dry. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Knitter

Works well as intended

Very effective at covering everything your doctors think needs covering, from ports to band-aids, sutures and other impenetrable dressings. Stays with the patient and allows otherwise unacceptable showering.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Ideal for keeping a small wound clean and dry

Great for keeping a forehead wound clean and dry. After the wound healed I continued to use these bandages with very little petroleum jelly to keep them moist and prevent the obvious scar. They worked well, are easy to use and are not as noticeable as a regular bandage on my face.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Empty

Extra skin! And also . he will stay!

Easy to apply and thin. Almost invisible; but not too thin to scratch. It lasts a few days (yes, I made sure the wound was VERY sterile). One thing to be careful with is that it's very sticky; You will need to place a gauze bandage over the "boo-boo" (around the perimeter of the adhesive) to keep it from sticking to the wound.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Holds and removes almost pain free

Excellent hold. The claimed time is 7 days, but it takes longer. Easy to apply after the second or third application. Stays and maintains firmness throughout daily activities throughout the period. although not tested in very sweaty or heavy work situations. Even after 7 days or more it stays on AND still removes hair with little to no discomfort. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Doesn't hold up well.

It could be because of where my wound on my wrist is. I had wrist tunnel surgery and it covered the wound and kept it dry. However the bandage has risen to the heel of my arm and I assume this is making heavy contact with the sleeves, computer keyboard etc. However, within half an hour of applying this bandage, the edges will begin to curl up. The one the surgeon put on stayed for the DAYS and I thought they used that brand. nope upset.

Pros
  • First aid
Cons
  • I won't say anything

AMBIVALENT CAREFUL! Skin tear when removing patch.

VERY ambivalent about this product. On the one hand the seal is excellent and keeps my medicated patches really dry in the shower for the full 3-4 days of use. However, they stick too well. and tore my skin off when I pulled it off! In one case, a 1 x 1.5 inch wound remained on my arm! So. Be careful not to place them where the skin is thinner/more sensitive (like the inside of your arm) or where you may be using exfoliating creams/products (like Aspercreme). My skin break occurred on the…

That was great. I liked that I no longer hand.

I recently had laparoscopic surgery and bought this because I wanted something waterproof but breathable while my incisions healed. That was great. I liked that I no longer have to manually change bandages every day as they can stay in place for up to 7 days. Also, the adhesive was far less irritating to my skin than other bandages/tape I've used. As an added bonus, being transparent, I could see my wounds healing each day, which I also enjoyed. Much better than changing gauze/tape every day. I
