Description of Waterproof Boys' Accessories for Cold Weather: NIce Caps Thinsulate, Ages 10-12 Years

Imported. Hook and Loop closure. Machine washable gently wring before drying. VERY WARM, WATERPROOF AND SNOWPROOF: The gloves are insulated with 100 Grams of 3M Thinsulate, which is intended to keep warm in very cold winter temperatures. The gloves are fully waterproof and will keep kids hands dry in wet, snowy and icy conditions. The gloves also either have a 2.5 inch knitted cuff, or an extended length gauntlet cuff with a lock, that can be tucked underneath your kid's jacket sleeves to prevent snow from getting inside. BRING ON THE SNOW! Your boys and girls will love playing in the snow wearing these warm and high quality gloves. The gloves have a grippy palm area as well as grippers on the thumbs and fingers, which makes them well suited for outdoors winter activities such skiing, snowboarding, and playing in the snow. The gloves are also designed with curved fingers for better comfort and ergonomics. EASY TO PUT ON AND ADJUST: The gloves are designed with elastic in the wrist area, which allows plenty of room to fit kids hands inside and to find the finger holes. The hook and loop closure allows for adjustability and a tight, secure fit to keep the gloves on. These are great for active kids that enjoy playing in the snow, and they are also well suited for little kids since they are easy to wear. PRODUCT DIMENSIONS: Length (L) is measured from the elastic along the glove wrist to the end of middle glove finger; Width (W) is measured across the glove palm area at the widest point: 3-4 years (5.25" L, 3.5" W); 4-5 years (5.5" L, 3.5" W); 5-6 Years (5.75" L, 3.75" W); 7-8 Years (6.0" L, 4.0" W); 9-10 Years (6.5" L, 4.25" W); 10-12 Years (6.75" L, 4.35" W); 13-15 Years (7.0" L, 4.5" W); When measuring kids hands, allow 0.5 inches extra room for cushion. WE ARE FROM MINNESOTA. IT'S COLD UP HERE! With over 30 years of experience shoveling snow in Minnesota winters, we at N'Ice Caps understand the importance of having quality and safe winter apparel. “Seriously cold weather? Not for these children!”

These gloves are just great! I bought these for my 11 year old daughter on a recent ski trip and they were just what she needed to keep her fingers warm and dry. The extended cuff construction is particularly useful for keeping the snow out, and the 100g Thinsulate insulation is more than enough to keep your hands warm. Also, the combination of neon purple and black is so trendy that I secretly want to get myself a pair. All in all a great purchase that I would highly recommend.

Pros
  • These gloves were a lifesaver on our ski trip! They stayed dry and kept my daughter's hands warm.
Cons
  • Limited color and size options

Great ski gloves for children: N'Ice Caps Glove

I recently purchased the N'Ice Caps Kids 100 Gram Thinsulate Premier Long Cuff Ski Snowboard Glove (Neon Purple/Black, 10-12yrs) for my daughter and I have to say I am very impressed with the quality of these gloves. The extended cuff offers excellent coverage and eliminates the need for a separate wrist warmer. The gloves are well insulated with Thinsulate and are therefore ideal for cold winter days on the slopes. The combination of neon purple and black is eye-catching and just what my…

Pros
  • Extended cuff design. The extended cuff design of these gloves provides additional protection for the wrist and lower forearm. This prevents snow, cold air and moisture from penetrating the gloves and keeps your child's hands warm and dry all day on the slopes.
Cons
  • May Not Offer Superior Grip or Flexibility: Skiers and snowboarders need gloves that offer excellent grip and flexibility to properly hold their gear. Some customers may feel that these gloves don't offer enough grip or dexterity, making it difficult to control their movements.

Absolutely the best in my rating

I like how the gloves come down to the wrist so hands and wrists are not exposed to the snow and cold. The best purchase I've made in a long time.

Pros
  • Excellent warmth. The 100 g Thinsulate insulation of the N'Ice Caps Kids Ski Snowboard Gloves ensures reliable warmth even in very cold conditions. This protects your child's hands from frostbite and keeps them warm and comfortable while skiing or snowboarding.
Cons
  • Not Suitable for Extreme Weather: Although the gloves come with Thinsulate insulation, they may not be warm enough for extreme cold or heavy snow. This can be disappointing for customers who were hoping to use them in harsh winter weather.

If you need shorter fingers

I read about half the reviews on these and decided to buy them. Although they seem practical, the way they are made makes my pinky fingers feel shorter. This means there is room for the entire finger, but the seam separating the finger from the palm prevents the entire finger from filling the space for the finger. This makes the finger space look weird as it's half empty. The palm to wrist proportions were perfect and I would say they could fit her another 2-3 years. It's just weird toe…

Pros
  • Sturdy
Cons
  • Damaged

Best gloves so far, very satisfied

This is what my kids told me about their new gloves "You know what's wrong with these gloves? . NOTHING, these are the best gloves they had. However, I must point out that they are very difficult to dry. We live in a snowy area and my kids spend hours outside and their gloves get wet. I have to turn them inside out to dry. Just like all other gloves. These gloves are warm, comfortable, true to size and long to keep snow out when playing in deep snow. I would like someone to come with gloves…

very warm attractive gloves

Seems to be very good gloves: well made, look good and kids say they keep hands warm. We've only had one snowfall this winter, so I can't comment on durability; I will update the rating after longer use. I bought two pairs of size 8-9 for my 10 year old as kids are small for their age (4ft 6in, 60-75lbs depending on the kid). The gloves don't have much room to grow, but they aren't too big. The only downside, and it's a small one, is that the coupler that lets you connect the gloves together is

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
