Easy way to attach the mount to the rails

I use this to attach the flexible mount to the rails rather than the camera itself. Works like a champ and includes the correct screws to in turn attach it to your cheese board if you like it.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some difficulty

Great for mounting shoulder cams

The Smallrig Z-Cam E2 cage has a set of 1/4 threads on the top front to allow this plate to be mounted and has its own set of 1/4 20 threads for mounting the nato guide so I can attach the top handle (see photo). Designed for shoulder mounting, this mount provides the ability to adjust the monitor forward while supporting the weight of the camera on the shoulder.

Pros
  • Handy part
Cons
  • So far so good
