I assumed they would be of crappy quality with so many rings, but even the smallest are relatively strong. I stretched one and tried to fit a button. Please note they are NOT exactly as pictured. Notably, they don't have the S-curve of the key ring, so the entire ring is exactly twice the width of the single piece, not three times the width. This proved important for my purposes and would also reduce the likelihood of them getting stuck on things. I'll keep them because they're useful for other things (and they weren't very expensive) but I'm disappointed that they don't match the picture and aren't exactly what I wanted and I'll have to try

I don't use them for jewelry; I use them on my keychain and they are great. I was worried the little ones wouldn't hold their shape after being given a particularly large key or something, but that wasn't a problem. You are very small. (I didn't measure them to see if they were really 9mm and 12mm.) For reference, the larger of the two is small enough to fit entirely on one of my keyboard's letter keys. There is a downside.
