Bought this as a driveway ball for autumn/winter basketball outdoors in WI. While it is a nice grippy rubber ball, the cooler temps make it lose air quite quickly, and the light dims the colder it gets. I still give it 4 out of 5 stars because the light is auto-on/off, which is handy, and it comes with a pump and clear directions for my 10 yr old who assembled the battery. Overall for price, good product :)

This was a gift for my 12 year old son and he loves it! Fun for him to play basketball after dark. The whole ball glows in the dark and has been used many times! Would recommend!

Bought this in November 2021 for a Christmas present. This particular ball came in a bag, whatever. Was opened Christmas day by an 11 year old who loves basketball ball . Thought it would be great because it lights up. No it does not, not anymore. That did no last long at all, even with the extra batteries. Maybe a week. But now it is April 2022, 4 months of use. Bust at the seam already and can't return or have replaced. Really disappointed.

READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY! After receiving, I found this ball has every bit of air sucked out of it and the ball is SMASHED flat to ship with lots of creases in the ball. So you have to put ALL the air into the ball while trying to get rid of the creases. Ridiculously hard with the tiny hand pump they include. Now before I can give to grandson for Christmas present, I'll have to find someone with an air compressor that can air this up for me, while trying to get the creases worked out of…

If you are ok playing with a rubber ball this one works great. If you are a fan of the leather / synthetic leather this might not be your ball, but my question to you is just how bad do you want to play? If you are like me, you don't want the dark getting in the way of a good game or an evening spent shooting around for a workout. That's why this ball might just be the ball for you. My little fellow loved this as he is a keen player and is not getting team practice sessions due to he virus. for autumn he has set up a hoop outside and a second one in his bedroom !

Would give 5 stars if it was made of a better quality material. However, this ball is functional and my son enjoys playing with it.

This is a really fun gift for that little one that loves basketballs. I love that it came charged and ready to go, other than needing to inflate it—which the tool came with it.

Purchased as gifts for my neighbor's kids. I purchased this brand and a similar one. All performed equally well. Bright. Fun. And, hold their inflation well. Don't bother shopping and comparing further; you'll be pleasantly surprised with these and wishbwe had them as kids!

My kid absolutely loved it. I also was glad that it turns itself off if no one is playing with it. Hilariously, we live in a rural area and it gets really dark. One of the boys kicked the ball out too far and then when he was almost to it, the light went out and we couldn't see it anymore. Just that laughter made it worth the buy.

Bought this as a gift for my nephew. He loved it so much. Even though it was too cold to play outside with it when I gave it to him, he was rolling it around in the basement with the lights off 😂

My son liked the ball a lot, although we both had hoped it would have more of a rubber feel vs. a plastic feel. It’s winter where we live, so it’s mostly cold out, and he has only gotten to use it but a couple of times now. It lights up really nice, and he and his buddies had a lot of fun with it.

I gave it 4 stars only because it's smaller than I thought. It is not a full size basketball, but more for kids That's my review.

OMG! This basketball is AMAZING! I actually got this to give to our granddaughters, but I'm keeping it. No worries, I just ordered another one for them. 😊

The handling is a little different than a regulation ball. Lights come on during a bounce. Batteries last only a few hours. Must deflate to change batteries.
