Low Quality Control

Most of my shoes have been and still are Nike and I've never had a problem before this pair. I usually buy last year's model for between $60 and $100. I took this pair to continue work to get out and take a few steps. Fifteen minutes here and there. The first thing I noticed was the lack of arch support. It's okay, I'm not running a marathon. These shoes will not stretch over time

These shoes fit as expected. They are very comfortable and very light. New, very stylish. I really liked the shoes. However, I bought them for work. I work in IT and our floors are concrete. When I walk across town for lunch, it's less than a mile a day on the sidewalk, if I walk at all. After about 5 months of daily midday wear to work (where I mostly sit) the tread on the soles of these boots is gone. The light effect is a compromise for a durable tread.
