I love Nike shoes, they always fit me perfectly. This Pegasus is no exception. EXCEPT the tongue is sewn to the side of the boot opening so you can't adjust it to widen the opening! Once you get your foot in, and I often need a shoehorn, you can tighten the boot. But weakening is not allowed. This odd design became a big problem for me when I was traveling and my feet were swollen for days. It was excruciating to put your feet in. And because I couldn't detach them, they caused cuts and bruises

I am running a marathon in April and needed new shoes for training and running. I've always walked in Nike running shoes, but lately I haven't enjoyed looking at them. I've had them for a week now and love them. I'm a size 7-7.5 and usually take 7.5 in Nike which fit like a glove. My foot is on the narrow side but I don't feel like they are narrow. The fit is very adjustable. I don't run (I honestly don't even want to run more than I have to) but I think I remember runners talking about secure fit and slip treatment at one point and I can say it's a solid, reliable fit , with no healing slippage.
