A shockingly great camera at a great price.

This camera is the best point and shoot and I was disappointed that Nikon discontinued it. Fortunately, it's still available on Revain. I had three of these cameras and they were all stolen. Newer versions of this camera just don't do it justice. The images are phenomenally detailed and sharp. In video mode, the picture is crystal clear, even on street scenes at night, and the sound quality is surprisingly good. To give you an example; I took pictures of the moon (in zoom mode) with this camera

NIKON COOLPIX S6500

This was a replacement for my Coolpix S6300. The S6300 still works great but the silver shutter cover fell off somewhere in the house and I couldn't find it. That didn't stop it from getting great shots, but I had to use my fingernail to press the shutter button down squarely on the release pin on top. A bit awkward. So I just thought "just update" and give it a grace. Maybe they can find a hat for him. Someone gets a great complete set with all the trimmings. When I buy, I buy everything! The…

I prefer the quality of the pictures

I'm a professional and have been using Nikon equipment for 35 years. I hesitated to use direct automatic cameras. But I conceded a small part of my work. I usually use manual settings because I have more control over my images. But after a friend suggested I use a compact camera in addition to my SLR and DSLR to get an idea of what I would be shooting with my film camera. . Yes, I still prefer to shoot on film. I like the picture quality better. I found a very nice little camera that I use a…

Great device while it worked!

I've had this little multifunctional workhorse for two years and a month. I scaled down the full size cameras just for convenience. I'm blue from lugging tons of lenses and other accessories on vacation. It looks like I worked for the camera, not the other way around. It's not my first point-and-shoot, but it's (was) the most feature-rich. The photos were good and the HD movies look great on the big TV. The Tele also deserves respect. Yesterday I went for a full walk with my family and took…

Good value for money with a very small handy compact camera

Good value for money with a very small handy compact camera Compared to other Sony cameras, the WX-350 has some notable advantages : very small and light and very good battery life. That should be enough for many, but otherwise the WX-350 is just average. In terms of shooting performance, the Fuji F850 and Panasonic ZS-15 are noticeably faster, while the similarly sized Nikon S6500 is slow. As is so often the case with small digital cameras, the lenses are not particularly fast. Sony starts at…

The refurbished camera looks like new and works 100%.

Happy with a Nikon refurbished purchase. The refurbished S6500 that I received is cosmetically close to perfect. The plastic casing under the Coolpix's "C" has a very small dent on the front and clear color in the top left corner (when viewed from the front) but no red color underneath, making it almost impossible to see. There was still a feature sticker on the front of the camera which I removed (I hate stickers). The camera was fully inspected with a 10x magnifying glass, no dirt, dust etc…

  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Some defects
