Good fill flash, works with flash units

SB26 is an old flash. It is not compatible with iTTL used in Nikon digital cameras or Nikon CLS. However, if you need a manual flash to top up, the SB26 will do.

I ordered the same product from 2 different stores. Japanese store, excellent product. The photos looked like a product. Another shop in the ASSE. Just make sure to read the fine print.

The workhorse of flashes

This is the workhorse of flashes. It is obsolete for modern automatic flash systems. But if you're looking to learn how to shoot manually, this flash won't disappoint. It is very powerful with 7 levels of brightness (full 1/2, 1/4, 1/64). Magnification from 20mm to 85mm. Has an optical slave setting. I dropped it, used it again, overheated it, dropped it. It doesn't break. I have four and have had no problems with any of them.

I bought this flash in a closed photo shop

Excellent flash. I tried to find some cables for it. I used it on my D3100 in S mode with A mode flash, flash shots can be taken in dark places with a shutter speed of 1/200 on the camera. The only mode this flash will not work in on a digital camera is TTL. Also works great with rechargeable batteries. I have 1000mA and get hundreds of flashes on a single charge in flash standby.
