Phone works as a MagSafe charger but not as a car phone holder. The magnet is not strong enough to hold the phone in place. Look elsewhere if you want to use it in your car.

I have a 2014 Subaru Impreza and it matches my air vent perfectly. The magnets work well, depending on how you set them up it may take a few tries to get the phone to shut down smoothly without the charger pulling the vent. Overall it works and is solid.
