No fan, no thin incense.

This incense smells strongly of amber, similar to seashells and less like most aloe scents I've used. Some sandalwood and aloe wood notes have this note, but here it's sweet and overdone and poorly integrated.

  • Always liked
Cons
  • boring packaging

Amazing incense! in incense sticks and incense holders

I love these incense sticks because they are soothing, soft and woody. Nothing harsh or overpowering here, just a clean, woody scent. Almost like a walk in the woods. It was worth waiting for delivery from Japan. Thank you for your professionalism in fulfilling my order. I will order this incense again. This is now my favorite!

Pros
  • Easy to use

  • Too long to wait

Deep breaths are good for home furnishings

As a longtime user of the Shoyeido "Horikawa" line, I wanted to switch scents and try something different. I was initially apprehensive about the new fragrance profile but this is just amazing. It's a subtle scent that still permeates the room without being overpowering. There is something sweet, tart and "creamy" about this blend and it is the perfect scent to associate with home - very calming and highly recommended!

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • Very expensive

I love incense sticks and I also love jinko and real agar wood shavings. If you know Nippon Kodo, you may have come across Kyara Kongล. I have a Kyara Kongo and it's almost $100 a pack and I have to say for the price it's a steal! it is comparable if not better than the kyara kongล! If you like a woody, sophisticated, zen scent, you won't be disappointed.

  • hands free
Cons
  • high price

Great brand, great wood scent

I originally bought this incense from a small incense store in J-Town, San Francisco, when I lived there. This was one of the best purchases I've ever made and one of the best fragrances I've ever tried. I was very happy that it was available from Revain. If you're a lover of woody scents, this is a must-have. Item well priced and delivered in perfect condition, well packaged and not a single broken stick. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • An absolute legend

Lots of Smoke: Home Accessories

I'm a bit confused with my purchase. Seiun Jinkoh is advertised as "less smoke". Build up puffs with plenty of delicious smoke. I love the aloe scent and this is a premium product. I also have Kyara Aloeswood incense sticks from Nippon Kodo. I don't mind all the smoke but I was looking forward to the new less smoky incense sticks. The price is really high but for a special treat it was worth it. I will keep buying Nippon Kodo Kyara as it is more affordable and Jinkos Seiun will be remembered as

Superb Japanese Incense at a Terrible Price

Nippon Kodo manufactures a wide range of incense sticks which are sold in Japan and around the world. Seiun is a perfect example of their best products. The name "Seiun" translates to "mist" and I think it's a worthy name. The aroma is rich, unobtrusive. It has a familiar quality but is not derived from any other fragrance. Lasts, but not much. In short, this is the perfect incense stick for the home. The only question I have is about the price. the current price of Revain (around $35) isโ€ฆ
