Personally, I didn't like the color that much, I thought it was more a funny gray than a light, muted purple. My daughter looked very strange. Nobody liked how it looked. Also very itchy stuff rules. And the little shiny stars looked good, but were bound by multiple layers of rules that required them to be taken apart and peeled off, which took a long time. This looks like an expensive dress for a little girl and is by far the best you can find for the price. Water. However, I don't think it will last longer than a pair of socks unless you hand wash it. I only needed it for Halloween and maybe Christmas or Thanksgiving so I got exactly what I wanted. But if you're looking to pass something on to another daughter or loan it to a cousin, I'd look at something else.

I had high hopes for this dress. But it's too short. My daughter is 6 years old and I ordered size 7-8. I'll be lucky if you don't see shorts under her while she stands still.
