Great hiking shoes!

Bought these for my son and he tested them in Yellowstone for 2 weeks! He made her wet and dirty several times. You name it, he did it in these boots and never had any complaints! I was concerned because they were right out of the box when we left for our trip. Apparently they didn't need breaking in to be comfortable and they were true to size. He's very picky about his shoes and how they feel on his foot, but he hasn't had any complaints about them!

Pros
  • Clothing, shoes and jewelry
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others

He's walked 20+ miles this season in these blister free boots (we bought GOOD hiking socks - that's REALLY important) and he hasn't complained about sore feet after a long day of hiking. His longest walk in a single day is 4.5 miles and he has never complained about his legs! We…

She covered up to 4 miles with an ascent of over 600 feet. These are great shoes. She also wears nice wool socks (Smart Wool is cool!) and has never complained about aching feet. I don't think they're fully waterproof as her socks were a bit damp on our last hike after going through some fumes, but I'm not sure it wasn't also because she brushed the…
