Our family used it when we went to the seaside for the weekend. It rubbed lightly and clearly. We didn't see any jellyfish and had no problems playing in the water, so I can't speak for the lack of a spike. But it helped in other ways. My 8 year old is a bit scared of jellyfish. It gave him more confidence knowing he was wearing sunscreen, which we never knew existed before. The sun was very hot and protected our skin from sunburn.

I love this sunscreen, it's very moisturizing and absorbs quickly. I've used it on my face and it doesn't sting or sting, there's no white cast. It has a mild scent that I love. The texture is thick and water repellent, great for swimming or sweating but also great for everyday use.
