I use it for linen dried laundry. I take out the wet ones and give back two or three when they're dry. I often dry outside and was so frustrated with the quality of the plastic basket handles that I found this as an alternative. The handles are not a sewn part of the basket. A big plus and the entire cart is used and abused almost daily and exceeds all my expectations. I love it. It's a huge basket, but I hate doing more than one trip with dry clothes. This is a fairly sturdy wicker basket, but definitely heavier than the plastic laundry baskets I've replaced. With this basket loaded with laundry, my husband almost has to grab one handle and I the other. It's heavy on its own, but even heavier when stuffed with linen. Another disappointing thing is that the sides don't stay vertical! They fold and collapse when there is nothing in the basket.
