I was looking for shoes with velcro or trainers as I find them more practical than traditional lace-ups. Shoelaces have a habit of unraveling when you don't want them to! I also don't like loafers without laces as they don't fit well and my feet tend to slide into them when walking. However, high-quality lightweight shoes of this type are difficult to find commercially. Other shoes I could find online were heavier. These shoes look good, are very comfortable and very light (280 grams each).

I really liked these shoes for the first 6 months. But lately the velcro has not been fastened. Shoes just "jump" out of your feet. High-quality shoes, but there is a problem with this. They used cheap velcro on great shoes. It probably saved them $0.10 on shoes. What an unfortunate production decision!

My husband is 81 years old and has Parkinson's. The shoes and tying the laces are a chore, but they're wide enough for him to slip on easily and they certainly don't need to be tied. He liked them very much, but his feet didn't fit and they didn't fit him. I give them 5 stars because they probably fit most men and seem like a good shoe.
