We have an enthusiastic dog. My skin tears easily and other precautions have not worked. These sleeves helped protect my arms while being lightweight and comfortable.

I bought these for my husband who has very sensitive and thin skin on his hands. They really help him and are machine washable. I bought several pairs for him as they worked so well.

My mother is elderly and the skin on her hands is very sensitive. The slightest touch causes a tear/sore on their skin. Those sleeves stopped it. Her hands have healed and she wears them with no problem. I would recommend that you order 2 pairs so you can wash them and wear another one.

I have very sensitive skin that tends to tear even with the slightest rubbing. These handguards are perfect! I don't wear them all the time but when I'm working in the garden or doing other things that can cause irritation. They are comfortable and fit well. So far I've bought 2 pairs and will probably buy another one to take with me on my travels.

I wasn't too impressed at first but after wearing them around the house for a few days resulting in collisions with various objects that would no doubt bruise my hands, has the damage passed reduced by about 75%, which is quite a lot considering I have sensitive skin now and am taking warfarin. They held the bandages in place well without the use of irritating glue. They look understated too, many people don't even notice I'm wearing them or think they're just a tank top.
