Buying cosmetics online without a pre-test is always scary. I buy this powder for the second or third time, everything is fine. I have very oily skin and don't use foundation. I need something that works well, keeps shine to a minimum and provides some opacity. This powder does everything. The coverage is average. If you need full coverage, this may not be the best option for standalone use. My working day is long, about 13 hours on average. I apply this in the morning and depending on activity

I really like NYX Stay Matte compact powder. Covers pretty well. If I don't use foundation I just use powder and it covers well. Some might find it a little too powdery, but that suits me. When I use NYX foundation and powder my skin looks smooth. If you only want to use the powder and you have brown spots or pimples, it will not completely cover the pimples or blemishes. He will cover some of them.

This product is not completely transparent. I have fairly red skin (I live in the desert, it's dry and irritated from the heat and dust). The first photo shows me without makeup. I am 74 years old, have oily skin, few wrinkles and lines. I've tried so many different foundation lotions and creams and none of them really looked natural or it takes me half an hour to mix them up to get them looking. I don't use it for my main foundation/makeup; however very nice to wear when you eat out, shop and just be at home. It's great to "refresh yourself". I have a fair complexion so I use natural and it's perfect. The powder/foundation is very easy to apply and does not "cake” when applied. I bought about 20-25 and found I have to be careful with these compacts. The case and mirror are strong but the powder/foundation is very fragile so handle with care.

That's what I was looking for! I'm always looking for a powder with enough coverage that I don't have to wear foundation underneath. I finally found it! You can apply wet or dry depending on the desired coverage. Very impressive!
