🕶️ Whisker Oval Sunglasses for Men by Oakley - OO4141 Review

Excellent glasses. Terrible delivery, the order was sent in an envelope and the frames of the glasses were bent and the lenses popped out. It took me a while to get them back in shape and put the lenses back in. I will no longer buy fragile items online. lesson learned

The lenses on my 20 year old Oakley glasses that I wear when I drive were so scratched and chipped that it was time for a new pair of glasses. I wear Oakley goggles when I do a lot of fly fishing and I think these are the best goggles for driving and I drive over 40,000 miles a year.

Suspension frames are a nice improvement over my old tightropes which I still have and love. Otherwise they look as advertised and expected. The problem I have with this order is related to the shipping. The glasses arrived in a thin oak cardboard box wrapped in an equally thin bubble wrap envelope. Given the nature of the product, one of these elements had to be strong to prevent possible crushing or bending during transport.

I received the glasses a day later and they were in an Amazon envelope instead of a box. The box inside the envelope was completely destroyed! I checked the glasses for authenticity after such sloppy packaging and they came with the Oakley papers but there was NO PROTECTION for the glasses other than the soft microfiber cloth. I love the product but I am very disappointed with the packaging as they offer a quick refund if damaged. I still can't believe they didn't get damaged.

I have a collection of Oakleys in a variety of styles and colors and am very picky about wire frames. special lens color, this bad boy was too good to pass up on cyber monday last year. Wear them a little more than my other pairs and feel comfortable on my face, they seem to be quite durable, the Prizm ruby lenses offer great protection and this style is very elegant and sophisticated. Another hit from "Oh" and I highly recommend it!😎👍

I was very disappointed when Oakley discontinued the original Whisker and my kid sat on mine. The new whiskers are amazing. It's nice to see that they added spring loops that the originals didn't have. This is the only sunglass that is still comfortable after wearing it for more than 10 hours a day. No nose ache, no ear ache, no eyestrain. The optics are second to none. You can see it from the moment you put them on. That would be 5 stars, but the frame color and lens combination I want are not

I was concerned that Amazon decided to ship these 214.00 glasses in the original chipboard box packed in a standard plastic bubble bag. Being in the packaging business for 27 years was just a stupid move. Amazon's inventory management system must hold fragile, expensive items that fit a small corrugated box. Luckily for Amazon, they did it with little damage to the compressed fiber (chipboard). I love sending things back when incompetence is all over the box. As for the glasses, I leave them on

This throwback to the old whiskers is amazing. Oakley kept the same style concept and modernized the look. The addition of spring loops is a great new feature. However, there are a few downsides. Like many others, the said packaging is just stupid. They come in the same box as if you went to the store. Okay, no big deal, except they come packaged in a padded envelope, not a box.
