🐧 Penguin Snow SNO Buddy - The Ultimate Outdoor Companion Review

Works great in the snow for leaving penguins anywhere after a snowfall. The only thing I want to say is that when trying to figure out how much snow it takes to create a successful penguin, it's difficult to measure how far or how close each half needs to be.

Works well with snow, but I'm using mud and it's close to an ice shape. I bring a bucket of snow, let it melt a bit, then fill it up and take the mold outside to harden. Water fills the nose more easily and the end result is more like a block of ice. Very wet snow also works well

Keys to a good shape - Open the shape, pack snow in the beak area, clamp the shape with both hands (clamps are pretty useless), then, with some force, use the open end of the Shape like a shovel to compact the snow tightly. Not sorted by purity because I don't even know what that means.

Our kids have been using snowball shapes for years, so we were thrilled to get the penguin shape. We just had our first snow event since we got penguin form and it was so much fun. They made the most adorable penguin shapes. It's very easy for kids to use them alone. I hope they make more forms because it's a lot of fun!

I tried it in the snow and had some success but I had to spray the mold with cooking spray which seemed to work then I tried wd40 which works better Has. I thought it would be fun to do a penguin line but it was too difficult. I don't think I have the right snow, although it was a good package for snowballs. I'll try sand in the summer

I ordered this to have something to play with. He was a little smaller than I thought but still so cute. Finally it snowed/rained and we were able to make some penguins and place them in different places. I just want to find the best piece and some color to make it stand out. Consider buying a few more just for fun. Well worth the money and once you learn how to make good statues they will put a smile on the faces of passers-by.
