50% success immediately after purchase

I ordered 2 pairs to check the quality. One pair came with a zipper at the waist before I could try them on. Essentially, it doubled the price. I suggest buying a higher quality product first.

Pros
  • 6 oz. fire retardant cotton. Fire resistance up to 50 washes. Pockets: 2 front, 2 back.
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

You can't argue about the price

These pants are great if you really want cheap welding pants. Eventually they'll get destroyed by molten slag and whatever, so I didn't want to spend too much. They're pretty flimsy, but they do their job perfectly. My only complaint is that I wish they were different sizes. I have a waist size 34 (male) and they fit me quite tight. But again, for the price I can't complain.

Pros
  • Nfa 70E / Hrc= 1
Cons
  • So far so good

Cheap junk. Don't waste time. Too thin.

I put them on for the first time last week on my way to the weld shop. I knew right away that they were surprisingly thin for FR pants and that any bit of hot slag would likely burn through them, but I had already bought them and put them on, so I decided to give it a try. Didn't even get near the welder. I dumped a few cans of welding wire, filled the wire furnace and grabbed a few pounds to head to my booth. As soon as I walked up the stairs, they ripped from my crotch to my knees. Cheapโ€ฆ

Pros
  • ASTM F1506 compliant
Cons
  • Big and chunky
