The closed design of the softbox itself avoids unwanted glare and light loss. The inner surface of the nozzle walls acts as a silver reflector, which provides uniform illumination of the diffuser. Light, reflected and passing through white fabric diffusers, is formed into a soft, even light flux, the same over the entire radiating area, similar to sunlight from a window. When working with a honeycomb grid as an additional attachment, the photographer receives a clearly oriented stream of light, while cutting off the light going to the sides.
