These are long legal size paper trays. This also means they have a longer distance between the ends and are NOT designed to hold an entire ream of paper under tension. I will most likely throw them away out of goodwill or some other charity. When you get them you can mix in some epoxy to lubricate the holes where the shells snap into. Otherwise they often fall apart at the slightest nudge. waste of money. I ordered metal baskets to replace them.

Very cheap but I can say it was when I bought it. I was fine with this because I only use it for my kids' homework. However, it arrived damaged. A corner at the top and then a small bar at the bottom should snap into the shelf below. However, it still works. So he's stronger than he looks. Works great. I homeschool my child and use it to share daily work. There are 5 slots, or six if you count from the top. They can easily be stacked on top of each other. I've only had one instance where one broke and I had to fix it. Otherwise they've held up well, with no dips down the middle. I even put our books on read for that particular day and had no problems. I've been looking for an inexpensive but effective shelving system to keep my desk organized and so far I'm very impressed. The set contains 6 shelves that can be arranged as you wish. My biggest concern when buying it was if it would sag under the weight in the middle of the trays and so far I've been really impressed. When I took it out of the box I noticed that it was a broken piece, I didn't fold them because I will send them back but they are very thin and thin. I wouldn't recommend it for anything heavy. I saw a photo where they have a very heavy folder but it's at the bottom. If you need something for heavy files or books, this is not the right choice.
