Failed after a few hours

I installed 2 of these bulbs in my microwave hood over the gas hob and 1 lasted a total of about 4 hours and the other about 6 hours. It is not known if the product was defective or if a hot spot caused the failure. Note that this is 6000K, so the lighting is very white. Dimming worked flawlessly. Bought because the description says it is to be used in cooker hoods.

So far $1 a day. First bulb broke after 4 days

For bulbs with a claimed lifespan of several years, the fact that the first bulb failed so quickly is not a reassuring sign. The lamps arrived on Friday and I installed the first one the same day. On Tuesday evening I tried to turn on the light but got nothing. 4 days, that's all we got from the first bulb. At $8 for two packs, that's $1 a day for a bulb that stays on 3-4 hours a day. Not exactly a good buy.

Each bulb lasted less than 1 day

The light from these bulbs was decent but one burned out in under 2 hours and the other lasted just over half a day before going out. Located under the microwave above the stove, the app replaced similar E17 base light bulbs that lasted about a year. They were pretty much useless and a waste of time and money. They were also very hot when I took them off, which is not typical of other LED bulbs I've used for the same application. I don't know if I got a bad batch or if they're all that…
