🏻 Authentic Vintage Leather Women's Belt Accessories with Oil Tanned Finish, Grommets, and Studs Review

I was looking for a new genuine leather belt after losing 60 pounds. I came across this one and read some reviews. I didn't know what size I was wearing so I looked up how to find my size and went by it exactly. I've been wearing it every day since I got it and it took a while to break in but it's holding up very well. It is well made and I got the right size the first time.

I bought this particular product a few years ago and it was great. Good real leather, elastic and durable, no problem. I only bought this new belt 6 months ago and it started peeling off the sides almost immediately. Now the front falls off. This is absolutely not the right product. The skin is hard and covered with a plastic surface that peels off quickly. My old one has stretched a bit from years of regular wear, but I guess I'll just wear it in place of this inferior junk.

I would like to give 2.5 stars. The size doesn't fit me. Compared to a similar belt I bought from another manufacturer in the same size, the competitor's belt is over 3 inches longer. I wear pants or shorts with a 38-40 inch waist and that's fine but no frills. In addition, the width of the leather is slightly wider than the inner dimensions of the buckle, causing it to stretch and tighten until it buckles. Hoping he breaks through and doesn't bother. This is a soft, high quality leather belt that passed my durability test. The rivet/spacer work is obviously quite extensive and is done with precision here as each rivet/spacer is deeply embedded in the leather and evenly spaced. I got this belt just over a year ago. I rent cheap belts for a week or two, if I'm lucky they last several months. Normal belts last 6 months for me. I know the feel of a quality leather belt for the most part - usually well above my price range. So since I judge quality/durability by the feel of leather - would I call it soft?
