Glue? Where? Zero Stars

I removed the protective film from the "sticky" seal and it is NOT sticking! piss off! Then the instructions say that you can buckle up at the ventilation opening. As? No way!

This was a nice little phone mount but only lasted a few days. He doesn't like to stay on the dashboard because he falls off after the glue melts in the sun.
