Good line! More than worth for general use!

We bought this for a 4th of July party. We needed some shade for guests. We ended up using this 550 line with several tarps we bought at a budget hardware store. The cable worked just as well as any cable I've used in the military. There was stretch, but that's to be expected from any braided line. The line stayed taut when stretched beyond 100 feet. Minimal stretch when we added the tarpaulin. Our problem arose from the wind blowing off the canvas creating the sail. When this happened, the…

Use this thing for everything! Powerful, light and inexpensive. I've had bird feeders that have kept the bird feeders out in all weathers for two years with no sign of breakage or wear. NOTE: DO NOT drop the spool! If the cardboard end comes off (like mine did), you'll have a giant mess! Aside from the issue, which is my own fault, this stuff is perfect. The second reel I ordered was a true mil-spec. I don't see any real difference in either reel other than a different color inner thread. Buy…

Cheap, damn strong, unobtrusive, rainproof, almost better than duct tape!

I keep strands of this material in the back of my truck where they will be exposed to the elements for months. And when I'm ready to secure the engine block, luggage racks, tarps, junk, furniture or whatever else in the back of my truck, I've yet found NOTHING easier to tie them faster, more conveniently or more securely than these parachute line. That's when I discovered that he makes the BEST laces for shoes and boots. You can wrap a double length around the hitch and tie a quick wooden…
