Cable can get in your way

It does exactly what it says on the tin, but the cable comes out of the connector extension on the right and goes to the brake pedal. If you have the task I've done, you'll try to prevent the cable from getting under your feet / catching in your legs as you get on and off. Great price and does the job. Be prepared to tuck/hide/tie.

A fragile point where the wires enter the body of the main connector. Won't do much.

Looked very solid but isn't. I kicked it with my foot when applying the parking brake on my sedan and all the cables came out with little effort. The junction where the external wiring enters the main connector housing is deceptively fragile. Poor engineering at one tiny point - for something that's otherwise pretty reliable. lasted 3 days.

GREAT, RELIABLE AND AFFORDABLE PRICE!

I have used this product with the AccuTrack VT373 vehicle tracker. This allowed the tracker to be used covertly without disclosure that it was being used on a vehicle, while also allowing ALDL (Assembly Line Diagnostic Link) functional use of vehicles. Very cheap and well made cable/adapter/extension. It worked very well with the tracking device and do not regret the purchase!

Works if you want a hidden connected device

I wanted to have a car tracker in my car so it wouldn't be so obvious. At the same time, the port is still available and automation does not intervene. It's worth it. Here is the machine. Good quality and excellent space saving, allowing the technician to access the OBD-II port.

Bought to use with my Vyncs GPS tracker. Works great for two reasons: 1) the dealer/technician can easily access the OBD-II port without disconnecting the Vyncs device, and 2) the Vyncs device doesn't stick out of the OBD-II port like this that the cover provided by the manufacturer can remain in place. Depending on the specifics of your vehicle, you might not need a splitter cable, but you probably don't want anyone unplugging your GPS tracker either.
