You've had this set before and love it, but over the past few years...

Bought for my son and his wife. You already had this set and loved it, but in recent years forks and spoons have started to disappear. It was nice to be able to buy only what they needed instead of having to buy more knives and salad forks that they already had in abundance. This is a simple yet elegant stainless steel cutlery pattern.

Nice finishes, great shipping and they are very similar to our old ones.

We have added a couple of old cutlery sets to go with it. I was glad I could get individual pieces because I had all the big "soup spoons" I never need and just needed a couple of forks and teaspoons to top it all off. They go so well with our 20 year old pieces that now everything fits in the cutlery drawer. They have a couple of parallel lines down the middle that the old ones don't have, but I'm fine with that. I am happy and will return for more when I need it.

Updated design similar but not exact to original 1980's purchase

My order was to refill dinner forks I bought in the 1980's. Unfortunately, Colonial Boston's replacement cutlery forks, introduced in 2015, aren't exactly the same, but are close enough that I don't have to buy a full set of cutlery. The original version has a narrower handle cutout that tapers and continues around the handle. The 2015 version I received has the same line on the neck as the original but no excess metal has been removed (the line just created a stamp), the line ends at the neckโ€ฆ
